Let's say that the most important and desirable thing at a speed-dating event is that the dates over the table from you are attractive, articulate, interesting, fun and (of course), they think as highly of you as you do of them.  Let's assume that this is the most important thing to everyone - after all, the reason we go speed-dating is to meet new people, feel a connection with a few, and enjoy our dating lives.

So, that aside.  I've had a go at ranking what I think are the five most important things about a speed-dating event to our customers.  If you think I'm wrong (about the top 5 or the order of them), please tell me!

No. 1.  That the event has an even balance of men and women, so you're not sitting dateless.
No. 2.  That the event is run by a fun, articulate, organized and professional host
No. 3.  That the venue is conveniently located, and the space allocated to us is clean, private and spacious enough
No. 4.  That the event starts and finishes on time
No. 5.  That there are complimentary appetizers and good drinks specials
